1. What chartlink is
chartlink (chartlink.app) is a service for designing a brand for charts and maps and for making, hosting and sharing charts in it — in the studio, with its AI assistant, or through the API by your own AI agents. It is operated by Oscar Österberg, trading as OscarLeo, sole proprietor (enskild näringsidkare), Sweden ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the API you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts, workspaces, and agents
You sign in with your email address. Your charts and brands live in a workspace; its owner can invite members and decide what each may do, and is responsible for what they do there. API keys let your AI agents work in your workspace: keep them secret — you are responsible for everything done with them, including everything your agents do. If a key leaks, revoke it on the workspace page.
3. The AI assistant
The studio's assistant changes your brand and charts when you ask it to and can make mistakes: check what it did before you publish. Nothing it does is published until you publish it. What you send it is processed by AI model providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We may limit how often it can be used.
4. Free hosting and premium credits
Drafting, previewing, and hosting charts (live, embeddable URLs) is free; free-hosted charts carry the chartlink badge. Republishing and data updates are never metered on any tier. A paid credit upgrades one chart: your brand's footer (its byline or logo) instead of the chartlink badge, a public page without chartlink's site around it, and SVG, PDF and print-size PNG export. A credit applies for the operating life of the service: we don't re-charge for keeping a chart premium, and if we ever discontinue chartlink we will give at least six months' notice and provide an export path for your charts and data. Free hosting is subject to fair use (see below).
5. Payments
Credit packs are one-time purchases handled by Paddle.com as merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, VAT/sales tax, receipts, and refunds; we never see your payment details. Prices are shown at checkout including applicable tax. See our Refund Policy.
6. Fair use
Credits are priced for charts made to be looked at. We may throttle or suspend workspaces that abuse the service — for example bulk-hosting programmatic content unrelated to data visualization, using chart hosting as generic file storage, or automated abuse of the free tier. We may remove content that is illegal or infringes others' rights.
7. Your content
You own the data and charts in your workspace. You grant us the license needed to render, store, and serve them (published charts are public URLs). You are responsible for having the rights to the data you upload and for what your published charts show.
8. Availability and liability
We run chartlink with care but provide it "as is", without uptime guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on charts rendered by the service.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. You can stop using chartlink and request deletion of your workspace at any time. We may suspend workspaces that violate these terms.
