Make charts in your brand from your AI

Add chartlink to your AI app once and sign in. Then give it data in a chat: it makes the chart in your brand and hands you a link to it. No keys to copy, nothing to install.

    Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.

    Name it chartlink and paste this address:
    https://chartlink.app/mcp

    Choose Connect, sign in to chartlink (or make an account) and pick the workspace it works in.

    Run /mcp, choose chartlink and sign in in the browser.

API and automation

Applications, scripts, pipelines and agents that make HTTP requests and cannot sign in

    Make an API key in the studio under Workspace → API keysand keep it where your code keeps secrets — an environment variable or your CI's secret store, never in a chat.

    Make a chart. It comes back as a private draft with a preview and a link to it in the studio:

    Publish it when it should be public: POST /api/assets/{id}/publish gives the page, the embed code and the image. Everything else is in the API reference (and as OpenAPI); agents start from llms.txt.

Another AI app that takes MCP connectors with a sign-in: add a remote MCP server with the address https://chartlink.app/mcp and sign in when it asks.

After connecting

In a chat where chartlink is turned on, paste a table or attach a file and ask:

Make a chart of this in my chartlink brand, with the source. Show me the preview and the studio link.
  • Your brand. Every account starts with one, a clean starter look, so the first chart works right away. Make it yours later from screenshots, a few words or your website — ask your AI, or use Set up with AI in the studio.
  • Several brands?Name the one you want (“in my Newsletter brand”). Without a name, your workspace's default brand is used.
  • Private until you publish.A new chart is a draft only your workspace sees, in the brand's Charts in the studio. Ask your AI to publish it when you want a link or embed code.
Need help?
  • Can't find Connectors in Claude? It is under Settings → Connectors. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may have to allow custom connectors first.
  • Signed in to the wrong workspace, or the sign-in failed? Remove the chartlink connector and add it again; you pick the workspace again when you sign in.
  • Your AI does not use chartlink? Check that chartlink is turned on in that chat, and mention it by name: “in my chartlink brand”.
